Problem

Payboy is a One-stop coin digitalization services startup in Macau. They specialize in coin recycling and exchanging services to help reduce the pressure and cost of manufacturing coins for the government. They are looking for a complete user experience for their system.

Challenge

The machine hardware system is separately built, and there are limitations in the process of how the machine collects the coin. However, I am not able to try the machine in person, so that would be the key challenge for the experience.

Solution

During the first machine workflow design and development, the machine is hardware on parallel building as well. I work closely with the owner and he would provide the updated detail on how the machine would perform, and we would adjust the workflow step by step.

Customer journey

Insert the coins into the machine → after the machine calculates the total amount → users can choose the preferred exchange service payout. Such as digital wallets, and bank transfers.

Collaboration machine

The company not only works on its own brand machine, but also collaborates with the Monetary Authority of Macao and banks such as Bank of China and BNU Macau for the coin exchange machine.

I help the company to expand the exchange service workflow to cash, EasyTransfer (Macau FPS service), and NGO donation with dedicated experiences on each gateway.
